Welcome to Sterreweg day care centre!

Sterreweg is a special day care centre in New Horizons. We are a special service provider in the wider Plettenberg Bay area for children with special needs or disabilities and their families. We also function as a resource centre for the broader community.

At Sterreweg the children come first. Our well trained caregivers and staff make sure that these little stars get the appropriate care to make them shine!

Already 24 children are in our care and some who live to far from the centre can benefit from our outreach program. At “Sterreweg” we give personalised care as well as educational and recreational activities. The goal of working with children with special needs or disabilities is to improve their functional abilities and to facilitate and encourage their individual development. The focus is on improving their motorskills, social and emotional skills, communicationskills and mental development.

We've already witnessed great progress with each child at the centre and we hope to keep on working with these little stars!
